We feel you Alexis...

Ok, we'll admit it. We have a full on collective crush on Kanye, so when this mess showed up on his arm for NYC Fashion Week, (in the high waisted American Apparel stretch pants, no less) we were all a bit blown. Long gone are the days of his oh-so-beautiful Alexis, when all was right in the world.

See, we LOVED "back-then" Kanye. He wasn't dressing like a toy soldier, but rather a Paris bound gentleman, perfectly poised to take over the whole aesthetic Universe if given the time. So when these photos recently surfaced we were shocked. In fact, our Abagail was so off-put by this photo that her freckled nose was in a permanent crunch all day and we simply can't live with that. So, in an attempt to translate how we feel about this we are going to adopt Kanye's communication style and boil our argument down to one, short phrase... ahem:

SMOOTH MAGAZINE, ANYONE?

see, we took to the web to see if "Amber Rose" was in fact a real person or simply a call girl of sorts, (after all, um those glasses are certainly sold on Sunset...) and as it turns out she is in fact quite real and she simply dresses like a honey colored Sinead O'Connor circa 1989 who happens to be adverse to artificial lighting. Furthermore, Ms. Rose is also a "model" who "models" for black men's magazines. And believe me, we love a good looking lady whose confident enough to drape herself across the glossy cover of many a decent men's mag... but this woman? No. Her photos alone reek of cool water perfume - yes, the very same concoction from 1992 in the blue bottle you begged your mom to buy you from the local Rite Aid. Ew. 'Nuf said.

So in closing, we'd like to extend our apologies to Kanye for any offense but care not to offer the same to Ms. Rose, after all we imagine her cold on a curb inhaling the kick back dust bunnies from Kanye's lamborghini as soon as he zooms his way to the studio for album 5.

Oh, and ps. We love those AA Pants - just not on her. But we do understand the "primary color" angle their playing up as a couple, but please. Bring back Alexis. Stat.

Oh yes. And hopefully this will be our most shallow post out of all the posts to come. Our aim to to encourage, not slander. However, "Huge Mistake" could simply not go ignored.
